A "Light" Crosschairs to have a chat. He had been feeling especially blue that week and I was hoping a talk might shed some light on our stress of dealing with the effects of his stroke. Before I opened my mouth, I looked up and saw this stunning "light" cross on my study door. It took my breath away and reminded me of the promise, "I am with you always," and it also reminded me to pray! Our conversation was phenomenal and we both felt a new level of understanding had been reached. Joe couldn't see the cross from where he was sitting so I was glad it appeared again several times during that week. Now, with the sun shining in at a different angle, our "gift" is no longer visible, but we will never forget its comforting message. And you wonder how? The setting sun shone through parts of a half-shut blind and, along with furniture shadows, this amazing "gift" appeared. NEXT: Walking in Mist BACK TO: Archives |
